Set within woodland at an idyllic 600-acre farm, we have constructed a comfortable professional hide where you can enjoy an exclusive hide rental photographing wild Buzzards.
Although this beautiful bird of prey can be seen perched close to the side of the road, it is incredibly shy — making it a real challenge to photograph up close, even for some seasoned nature photographers. Especially hard is a perspective where you can really appreciate how magnificent this small raptor is.
The welfare of wildlife is paramount to us. The hide is only open three days a week to minimise our impact and encourage natural, wild behaviour. All participants are driven to the hide and can only venture out at the end of the session. There is a portable loo available in a separate chamber for your convenience.
One of the unique features of this hide is the distance it affords the photographer to the subject — only possible with specially imported one-way glass, pioneered by Bence Máté. You can get a nice shot with a focal range of 300-500mm, depending on your shooting style.
You may also wish to combine this with the Barn Owl Hide and the Kestrel Hide when available, on the same day, to qualify for a special rate.

15 minutes from Junction 20 of the M1, near Market Harborough, South Leicestershire. Full directions are provided on booking.
