Summer Tigers

May is the transition month between summer and monsoon in India. Everything begins to come to life. On this trip, we will be looking to utilise the backdrop of the growing vegetation to create some spectacular images of the wildlife.

Similar to our Big Cats of India tour, our primary focus is the Bengal Tiger and the Indian Leopard. We may also see animals not seen during the dryer winter months, such as Sloth Bears. The new growths in the forest do make spotting subjects a little more challenging. So this trip is more about quality rather than quantity.

Just as on our other trip to this special reserve, we will have the help of an expert big cats guide combined with an experienced tracker as a driver. We will have our own vehicle to decide on the direction of each session.

We will stay at a clean and comfortable jungle lodge by the edge of the reserve. The rooms are charming with ceiling fans for cooling, should you need them.

Meals consist of tasty local cuisine served buffet style. Tea and coffee are always available throughout the day and are especially welcome early in the morning before setting out for the first safari of the day.
