Little Owl Workshop
If you have ever tried to built a hide yourself to photograph a particular species, you will know that it’s no mean feat. It requires not only the countless hours of scouting, trekking and planning, but also careful consideration of light, and the habits of your chosen subject.
Luckily, all those hard work has already been done for you. This West Midlands based workshop will allow you to photograph this wild, iconic bird in the comfort of a purpose built hide. There’s no physical exertion to speak of and I will be there to give you guidance throughout the day.
You would need to have a digital SLR camera with a lens of 300mm or longer. You are however, able to hire both camera and lens should you need to, so long as you book early as I only have limited equipment available. The cost of hire for equipment starts at £50 – just enquire when you book. As we will be working in a confine space, a bean bag will provide the ideal support for your equipment. The use of a tripod is possible but can be restricting in this particular hide.
The cost of this day workshop with tuition is £175. The maximum group size is 3 participants per day.
